Have you built using Timbercrete Glenno?

I'm considering it for our house but would like to hear from someone that has personally worked with it.

Yes and no.
I manufacture the blocks and have a built a wall or two. I have a block of land at Aldinga Beach and will be building soon.and have some plans in place. I do have some contacts though who I've supplied blocks for, I can pass on some details if you want or if you have any questions, ask away.

On the website is a list of contacts around Australia. Because we are small businesses and source local materials from the likes of local timber mills and sand quarries there are varying costs across the country. The best way to get pricing is to drop an email to the contact closest to your region to get some pricing. If you have an idea of block size before emailing ie Veneer or Single-skin that also will help.

We're building a 22 storey house using timbercrete as the load bearing walls. We're very pleased with the result. The company is great to deal with and true to their word.

I'm about to start building - last stages of planning our new home.

I have been to the Thornlands Timbercrete "Church/manufacturing plant" several times and have seen pallettes of Timbercrete blocks with Mould growing in the rough surface. I would love to build with it but am very concerned about long term damage from this.

If mould / fungus can eat holes in a toughened swimming pool surface, then how could we stop this happening to Timbercrete?
