I have been looking for links to sod roof techniques
I know in the past many used sod roofs on alternative houses in australia
there was an article a while back on sod roof and cob wall construction which i do have
i have been watching the green roofs australia site http://greenroofs.wordpress.com/
but they seem more involved with more commercial building projects and not the low tech i seek

so if anyone has any ideas where to look or a technique please let me know

If you follow this google search you'll find plenty of information on the fellow that authors many of those articles.

That was the reference i had from the article i had seen in the mag

has anyone seen anything on combining green roof of any kind with potable water collection? is this possible?
