Looking to seal my concrete slab floor, internal, with a coloured sealer, wet look or stenciled etc. Anyone had any experience with this.

I have been looking into this as well over the last week as I want to dress up some concrete as part of my current reno.

From what I learnt on the net from google, the acid stains generally use fairly harsh chemicals so should be avoided for DIY as really should have the right gear.

You can buy some sealer with a pigment from Bunnings that I am yet to go and have a look at. I may give it a go this weekend. My father in law is/was a tiler, so will utilise his experience with sealing floor tiles.

We sealed a polished concrete floor about 5 years ago with a product called Megathane. Very durable with no signs of wear in this residential application. It's also used in commercial applications like shopping centre floors so its certainly durable.
We rolled it on ourselves with no issues although its very "strong" smelling, but works well. The product we used was clear, wet look but I imagine it can be tinted.
