Has anyone had a crack at this themselves. I've seen a pamphlet on the net for frameless with core drilled spigots holding the glass, so you have to hire a core driller for the day and drill then set the spigots and suport them. The other option i was thinking about was the one which is buried underground with an aluminium channel, but where do you get the chanel from and hwo do you do it? It seems better to bury it and concrete it in with some sort of special grout they use, and get a taller piece of glass so I can bury it to 1200 high. Is this possible or easy enough or should I just forget about it? Also (so many questions haha) has anyone had them delivered to qld, as the joint i'm looking at on ebay is in melbourne (they charge 182 per lineal metre for the glass including the spigots) I think the price is the best i've seen and it's 12 mm safety glass, plus some places sell the spigots for ofer 125 dollars each so the glass is cheap as when thats included. The delivery is a worry though. sorry in advance for the long post... |
